Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you submit an analysis, we store:

• The PDF you uploaded (your DHCR rent history document)
• The address, current rent, and move-in date you entered
• The analysis results generated from your submission
• The date and time of your submission
• Your IP address (used for rate limiting — see below)

We do not collect your name, email address, or any other contact information unless you provide it voluntarily.

How we use it

Submissions are used solely to generate your analysis and to review the tool's accuracy over time. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising.

IP addresses are stored only to enforce per-user submission limits and prevent abuse. They are not used for tracking, profiling, or any other purpose.

Third-party services

Your PDF and the details you enter are sent to Anthropic (the maker of Claude) to generate the analysis. Anthropic's own privacy policy governs how they handle that data.

Data retention

Submissions are retained indefinitely to support ongoing quality review.

Security

Submissions are stored in a secured, hosted database.

Cookies

We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregate page view data. No cookies are set and no personally identifiable information is collected.
